The Math test is the longest of all tests. The GED Math Test is
115 minutes long, and it has about 45-49 questions. The first part is a short test when you need to solve 5 questions without a calculator.

In the second part of the Math test, you can use a TI-30XS calculator and Math formulas.

A calculator and Math formulas are provided.

To pass the GED Math test, you need to answer at least 33 questions correctly. You can miss about 17 questions and still pass the test.

Let’s talk about the type of questions you need to solve.

The most straightforward questions are calculations.
These questions provide all the needed information, and you only need to calculate the results.
Then you get questions related to replacing variables, solving equations, and inequalities.
And finally, there are “real-world” mathematical problems, Geometry, and Graphing questions.

The GED Math test is not tricky.

A big part of the GED Math test can be solved using the TI-30XS calculator. We will talk about it
in the next video.
